A

Take the present tense of aller, followed by an infinitive.
je vais Nous allons
Tu vas Vous allez
Il/Elle/On va Ils/Elles vont

A

Things that you did in the past on one occasion, which are completed, and are no longer happening now

How do you form the perfect tense?

A

Take the SUBJECT, AUXILIARY and PAST PARTICPLE (remember SAP)
The auxiliary verb is always the present tense of either avoir or etre.
Regular verbs take the past participle:
ER IR RE
Jouer=Joué Finir=Fini Vendre=Vendu
For example: j’ai jouéau tennis (I played tennis/have played tennis)

What is the imperfect tense used to talk about?

A

Things that happened often or regularly in the past or things that used to happen.
Also used to say what something was like and to describe in the past

A
  1. Take the „nous” form of the verb in the present tense
  2. Remove „ons” ending and „nous” beginning
  3. Add the correct ending.
    Je -ais. Nous
