Add ending to the infinitive of the verb

Take the final -e off the infinitive and add the ending

How do you form the imperfect tense?
Take the nous form of the present tense, drop the nous and the -ons and add the imperfect tense ending

What is the conditional tense used for?
What would, could or should happen
How is the conditional formed?
The conditional is formed by adding the imperfect tense ending to the simple future tense stem.
The future tense stem is just the infinitive for -er and -ir verbs, and the infinitive minus - e for -re verbs.
