When is the present tense used?
The present tense is used to describe actions or states of being that are currently happening or are generally true.
When would you use the imperfect tense?
The imperfect tense is used to describe ongoing or incomplete actions in the past, as well as to describe past habits or repeated actions.
When would you use the preterite tense?
The preterite tense is used to describe completed actions or events in the past that have a specific beginning and end.
When would you use the future tense?
The future tense is used to describe actions or events that will happen in the future.
When would you use the conditional tense?
The conditional tense is used to describe hypothetical situations or events that would happen under certain conditions.
When would you use the perfect tense?
The perfect tense is used to describe actions that were completed in the recent past and still have relevance to the present.
When would you use the pluperfect tense?
The pluperfect tense is used to describe actions that were completed before another past action or event.

-AR verbs:

-ER verbs:

-IR verbs:
-o, -es, -e, -imos, -ís, -en
Imperfect tense verb endings
-AR verbs:
-aba, -abas, -aba, -ábamos, -abais, -aban
-ER/-IR verbs:

haber (he, has, ha, hemos, habéis, han) + participle (-ado for -AR verbs, -ido for -ER/-IR verbs)

haber (imperfect)(había, habías, había, habíamos, habíais, habían) + participle (-ado for -AR verbs, -ido for -ER/-IR verbs)
