Like the Perfekt, but with hatte/war instead of habe/bin (normal verb endings) with the past participle at the end.

Sein = war, warst, war, waren, wart, waren
Haben = hatte, hattest, hatte, hatten, hattet, hatten
Werden = wurde, wurdest, wurde, wurden, wurdet, wurden

Infinitiv-Stamm+Endung.
