The brakes should be tested as you set off and should not feel spongy or slack. The vehicle should not pull to one side and should remain like this for the rest of the journey.

The head restraint should be adjusted so the rigid part of the head restraint is at least as high as the eye or top of the ears, and as close to the back of the head as is comfortable. But some restraints might not be adjustable.

You would use the dipstick / oil level indicator and wipe it clean with a cloth, then you would dip it in the oil and make sure it is within the minimum and maximum markers.

The level should be within the high and low level markings on header tank and to top it up to correct level you would unscrew the filler cap and add more coolant until it has the right amount, then you would screw the cap back on.
