SAY- pull it out, it’ll be covered in oil,get a cloth and wipe oil off, then put it back in, pull it back out and see where the oil mark is, between minimum and maximum.
if it needs oil, it goes just above it.

SAY- the big bottle/carton with orange/red coolant, check the level is between the minimum and maximum, NEVER OPEN WHEN HOT

the small circular lid, check it’s between the maximum and minimum markings

lift slightly as you pull the bonnet stay out of the hole
clip back into holder
close the bonnet and drop before fully closed

On the passengers side there is a catch
Pull it up
Then go to the front
There is another catch which is just right of the centre
push it to the left
Hold it as you push up the bonnet
pull the bonnet stay up into the hole

Drive forwards slowly
press the foot brake
It shouldn’t feel spongey or slack
And the car shouldn’t pull to one side

Turn ignition on.
Turn the circular dial to the left for dipped headlights
Then you would walk around the car to check that they are all working.

If there was a fault then the (ABS) sign on the dashboard would stay on when you start the car.
Tell me how you would check the direction indicators are working.

Press the hazard warning lights button (red triangle)
Walk around the car to make sure all 6 indicators are working.
Tell me how you would check the brake lights are working in this car
Press the foot brake
Either see reflections in windows or ask someone to check they are working.

Give the steering wheel pressure when starting the car.
There will be slight movement.
OR when u move off the steering will be light to turn and not heavy
Tell me how you would switch on the rear fog light and explain when you would use them. you don’t need to exit the vehicle
use rear fog lights when visibility is less than 100 meters.
Turn on ignition, turn on dipped headlights, press REAR fog light button on the bottom left of circular dial.
you will know it’s on by seeing the orange dipped headlights sign on the dashboard
SWITCH OFF when conditions improve.
