Define Applique
To sew one piece of fabric on to another using a zigzag stitch, this can be used for decoration.
Define Sewing
A process where two pieces of material are held together using either a machine or needle or thread.
Define Paper-pattern
A paper or cardboard template from which the parts of a garment/product are pinned onto fabric before cutting out and assembling.

Trade between companies in developed countries and producers in developing companies in which fair prices are paid to the producers.

To unravel or become worn at the edge through constant rubbing. Bonded fabric doesn’t fray.

Felt is a type of matted fabric that consists of fibers bonded and pressed together.

Three stitches on top of each other with the needle going through the same hole at each end of the stitch

A simple needlework stitch consisting of a line of small even stitches which run back and forth through the cloth without overlapping.
