What is the proper way to take a breath?
Breathe deeply, expanding the lungs fully without raising the shoulders. Stomach area should feel “fat.”

By raising the soft palate. Imagine sipping through a straw or yawning.
What is a good choral stance?
Body should be held erect. Feet should be directly under shoulders, with knees relaxed.

Vowels should be open and pure.

The singer’s eyes should be on the conductor at all times.
