What is in situ hybridistion?
A
A technique that allows for the the recognition of a specific mRNA in a sample and display its localisation (e.g. using fluorescence)
limit: can only look fro 3 markers/cell

What is single cell RNA sequencing?
A
it reads the entire transcriptome in each single cell in a tissue
cells with similar transcriptional profiles are grouped together
(provides no spacial information)
