Trigger point release

A

Static compression: 7-10 seconds (longer if the client tenderness does not exceed a 3-4/10)
Prolonged ischemic compression: 20-30 seconds, communicating with client if/when pain diminishes.
*end with stretch to re educate muscle
*Use a breathing technique with compression
*enter and release slowly
