what is advantages and disadvantages of lecture method?
ad - convenient way to teach large group and provide information in short time efficiently
disad - difficult to hold attention & hard to get feedback from student
what are the advantages of guided discussion method and computer assisted learning method?
guided - improving student’s recall,retention also develop ADM by discussing
computer - allow student to do self studying, instructor to give homework to student and monitor their progress.
how to improve student’s skills?
drilled and practice method (practice specific skills repeatedly)
problem based learning
- instructor gives student real world question and student answer it and make decisions)
- develop HOTS(higher order thinking skills)
- develop risk management, ADM, situational awareness
what is application? and example it
when student operate aircraft alone as a solo flight, they will use skills which are practiced with instructor. so, instructor must comment and coach them to make their good habits. (primacy)
what is evaluation? how to do it?
instructor should review and evaluate student’s performance and instructing after lesson. assessment makes student find out their weak point and correct their mistakes.
