Attorney Fee limits for Medical Malpractice
Florida Const limits contingency fees that a lawyer can charge a client in a medical liability case.
30% of first $250k in damages
10% of damages above $250k.
Ad Valorem Tax
The county, municipality, and school district may EACH impose an ad valorem property tax. Up to 10 mills on real estate and personal property (a mill is $1 per $1000 of value).
Federal, State, County owned property for public purpose is exempt.

State may not take private property except for reasonably necessary PUBLIC purpose that benefits the state, and full compensation paid to owner.
