What is GPWS mode 3?
Altitude loss after take-off or during go around
What is the alert for GPWS Mode 3?
‘DONT SINK DONT SINK’
What is GPWS mode 4 and the alert?
Terrain clearance not sufficient when not in landing configuration.
‘TOO LOW GEAR/FLAP’ or ‘TOO LOW TERRAIN’
What is GPWS mode 5 and the alerts?
Descent excessively below the ILS glide slope
‘GLIDE SLOPE’
What is GPWS mode 6 and the alerts?
Altitude call outs when preset radio altitudes are passed
‘BANK ANGLE’ if it’s excessive
What is GPWS mode 7 and the alert/warning?
Reactive wind shear warning, armed on approach/takeoff/go around below 1500ft
‘CAUTION WIND SHEAR’ = alert
‘WIND SHEAR WIND SHEAR’ = warning
What is look ahead terrain alert?
