Flight Experience
1. Total Flight Time
- Accumulate a minimum of 250 hours of total flight time, which includes:
- 100 hours in powered aircraft, 50 of which must be in airplanes.
- 100 hours of pilot-in-command time, which includes at least:
- 50 hours in airplanes.
- 50 hours of cross-country flight, 10 of which must be in airplanes.

Night Flying
- 10 hours of flight training at night, which includes:
- A cross-country flight over 100 nautical miles total distance.
- 10 takeoffs and 10 landings to a full stop (with each landing involving a flight in the traffic pattern) at an airport.

- 10 hours of instrument training using a view-limiting device, including:

Solo and Cross-Country
- One cross-country flight of at least 300 nautical miles with landings at three points, one of which is at least 250 nautical miles from the original departure point.
- 5 hours in night VFR conditions with 10 takeoffs and 10 landings at an airport with an operating control tower.
