What are the 4 approaches to tanker truck incidents?
1st - assemble the resources and extinguish the fire with class B foam.
2nd - for combustible liquids, extinguish the fire with water fog when it can be done without creating environmental problems.
3rd - protect exposures, and allow the fuel to burn out.
4th - un-ignited leaks and spills should be diked immediately at a safe location and the liquid covered with foam to suppress vapors. Remove all ignition sources.
