Ko Ryeo Dynasty

Yo Moon Yi, a Tang Soo Do master and beloved by the 16th century king, Yo Jong, later became the general of the whole army and was renowned for his martial art skills.
*In the 36th volume of Ko Ryeo’s History there is a record of the 30th king of Ko Ryeo, Choon Hye, who came to the pavilion Sang Choon and watched men practicing Tang Soo Do around 600 years previously.
Eh Cho Dynasty
500 years ago King Sang Wang invited sons and other relatives to watch a display of Tang Soo Do at a party (reference 32nd volume of Tea Jong-Sil Lok).

In the time of King Dong Goong of the Eh Cho Dynasty, Moo Ye Do Tong Ji Bo (Military Arts Manual) was printed. It was known widely in the literature of martial arts and is highly valued as a precious source of martial arts history.

The goal is to teach this martial art in its original form to give much needed roots to Tang Soo Do practitioners around the world. Kwan Jang Nim Chun Sik Kim has created a standardize method of teaching preserving the the traditional values of the art and setting high standards of excellence and leadership.
