Me gusta mi insti porque tiene un buen ambiente y la mayoría de los profes son amables.

- ¿Cómo es? What is it like?
Es un colegio mixto y privado en el centro de Glasgow. Tiene dos edificios principales, uno es bastante antiguo y el otro es muy moderno. Hay sobre ochocientos alumnos y ochenta profesores.
It is a mixed, private school in the centre of Glasgow. It has two main buildings, one is quite old and the other is very modern. There are around 800 pupils and 80 teachers.
- ¿Cuál es tu asignatura favorita? What is your favourite subject?
Me encanta la historia porque es muy fácil y interesante y soy bastante fuerte. El profesor es muy simpático y las clases son divertidas. Sin embargo, nos da mucho trabajo.
I love history because it is easy and interesting and I am quite good at it. The teacher is very kind and the lessons are fun. However, he gives us a lot of work.

No me gusta nada la química porque es demasiado aburrida y el profesor es antipático. ¡Es muy severo! También, siempre tengo deberes.
I do not like chemistry at all because it is too boring and the teacher is unkind. She is very strict! I always have homework.

Yes, there are loads of clubs in the school, for example all the sports and the orchestra and the choir. I like music and I play the violin in the orchestra. I practice every Monday afternoon.

Sí, hay uniforme que todos tienen que llevar. Para las chicas como yo, es una camisa blanca, una corbata, una chaqueta verde y una falda gris.
Yes, there is a uniform that everyone has to wear. For the girls, like me, it is a white shirt, a tie, a green blazer, and a grey skirt.

Sí, me gusta porque es muy fácil y por la mañana no tengo que pensar en lo que voy a ponerme. Sin embargo, puede ser incómodo. Preferiría llevar unos vaqueros con zapatillos de deporte.
Yes, I like it because it is very easy and in the morning I don’t have to think about what to wear. However, it can be uncomfortable. I would esther wear jeans with trainers.

Voy a estudiar por los Highers y después me gustaría ir a la universidad. Me gustaría continuar con los idiomas porque son útiles y interesantes.
I am going to study for highers and then I’d like to go to university. I would like to continue with languages because they are useful and interesting.
