A

These were two men that overthrew the son of a tyrant, Hipparchus. This was seen as the start of democracy and a significant moment for the Greek people.

The term is often associated with the figures Harmodius and Aristogeiton in ancient Athens.

Who is Cleomedes?

A

He was a hero because he killed someone in the olympics (and destroyed a school)but when they came to punish him he got into a chest an vanished. The Depheric oracle told them they should honour him. Mad.

Who is Asclepius?

A

The god of medicine and healing in ancient Greek mythology. The centaur chiron taught him the art of healing to the point that he could prevent death. This annoyed Zeus so he killed him with thunder but made him immortal

He is often depicted with a staff and a serpent, symbolizing healing.

Who is Oedopus

A

Linked to Impiety. He polluted a whole city by marrying his mother and killing his father (unknowingly but still mental). They consulted an oracle who told them he was the polution and curse over the city.
After he was exiled this curse was lifted
