What is the Kukkiwon?

A

Kukkiwon
Established in 1972, the Kukkiwon serves as the highest authority in the world for issuing Taekwondo black belt certification. In addition, the Kukkiwon conducts research and instructional seminars. The Kukkiwon is the only Taekwondo organisation whose Poom / Dan ranks are recognised by WT.
