Waterfall Model

A

A waterfall model is a model that consists of a sequence of discrete stages.
One stage must be complete before the next stage begins, at the end of each stage deliverables
are produced and an earlier stage may be revisited if an error us found during later stages.
Occurs when implementation is complete.

RAD

A

A type of Incremental model, this is when the
project is divided up into a series of builds which is developed separately in parallel.
Additional functionality is added until the software is complete. Each subtask is given its own
timeframe.

Agile

A

System split into several small iterations. Each iteration is developed concurrently but a
group of collaborators which is supervised by a leader who supervises all groups. The end user
is involved throughout the development as they are consulted by each group via workshops.
