IT Contact
Only one person.
It is the customer system admin and will receive all system provisioning notifications and other communication about the systems.
SAP Cloud Identity Authentication Service (IAS) must be activated first amongst all email notifications received.
Communication Contact
Multiple people can be assigned as a Communication Contact to enable them to receive general communications related to the systems.
SAP Cloud Identity Service
During the provisioning of SAP Cloud ALM, you have a choice of selecting an existing SAP Cloud Identity Service to connect to the new systems.
For brand new customers, a new one will be automatically created in the region of the customer’s choosing.
New implementation - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition
Systems provisioned at a later point in the implementation
Systems are automatically provisioned
SAP Signavio Process Manager
SAP Signavio Process Collaboration Hub
SAP Business Technology Platform
System conversion - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition
No systems are provisioned. Each system is generated through the Software Update Manager tool that converts the ECC system to SAP S/4HANA.

Create project with SAP Activate Roadmap & Timeboxes
Partner project manager creates new project as SAP Activate Roadmap: RISE with SAP Methodology - clean core success plan.
In Timeboxes tab, enter the general dates for each phase. Timeboxes used to show status in the Overview app.
Add team members to roles
Project team members added with their relevant roles.
Can create a team - a collection of several different roles or users into one group.
Assign the scope (new implementations only)
Select the SAP Best Practices scope: Navigate to the Scopes tab, then click the Manage Scopes link.
Manage Scopes app - set the scope in the Cloud ALM to match with what the customer already selected on the Digital Discovery Assessment (DDA).
Why is it NOT recommend to use Scope from File option?
Creating scope by selecting each business process and it’s necessary local versions (countries) as it enables you to easily filter and add/remove processes from the master scope list as the Fit-to-Standard workshops are conducted and the partner LoB configuration experts realize perhaps too many, or not enough business processes were selected on the original DDA.
DDA is just a starting point - the final scope will likely change after all workshops have been completed.
Assign the scope (system conversion)
The analysis of the customer’s existing scope can be done with SAP Signavio Process Manager, which is then used as the documentation tool moving forward.
