Systemic Corticosteroids - Adverse effects
AE: short term use - hyperglycemia, increased apetite, fluid retention, demmargination of WBCs, psychiatric disturbances
Systemic Corticosteroids - CI
CI: systemic fungal infections, administration of live vaccines if immunocompromised
Systemic Corticosteroids - DI
DI: Warfarin INR increases (takes longer for blood to clot), decreases the efficacy of inactivated vaccines
