Damp Heat in Large Intestine

  • Lower abdominal pain (also uterus, bladder)
  • Mucus and possibly blood in stools
  • Tenesmus (lower abdominal cramp that feels like you need to go to the toilet but don’t)
  • Watery diarrhoea (can be explosive)
  • Burning sensation in anus
  • Dry mouth
  • Thirsty - no desire to drink
  • Feeling of Heaviness
  • Tongue: Thick Yellow Coating at back of tongue
  • Pulse: Strong, Slippery
