- Ruminate thoughts.
- Selective attention towards the phobic stimuli.

- Avoidance and withdrawal.
- Aggression or freezing. (fight or flight response)

- Low mood, feelings of sadness.
- Loneliness.
- Guilt.
- Hopelessness and worthlessness.
- Anger towards themselves or others.
- Loss of interest.
