Analytical technique

Anomaly
Something that deviates from what is standard, normal or expected
Behaviour
In science, the action of any material; the action or activity of an individual
Carrying Capacity
The size of the population that can be supported indefinitely on the available resources and services of the ecosystem
Characteristic
A typical feature or quality
Clade
A group of organisms that consists of a common ancestor and its lineal descendants
Disjointed
Disconnected; incoherent; lacking in a coherent order/sequence or connection
Diverse
Of various kinds or forms; different from each other
Ecological niche
The role and space that an organism fills in an ecosystem, including all its interactions with the biotic and abiotic factors of its environment
Element
A component or constituent part of a complex whole; a fundamental, essential or irreducible part of a composite entity
Elementary
Simple or uncompounded; relating to or dealing with elements, rudiments or first principles (of a subject); of the most basic kind; straightforward and uncomplicated
Erroneous
Based on or containing error; mistaken; incorrect
Evidence
Data that has been selected as it is reliable and valid and can be used to support a particular idea, conclusion or decision; evidence gives weight or value to data by considering its credibility, acceptance, bias, status, appropriateness and reasonableness
Evolution
Change in genetic composition of a population during successive generations, which may result in the development of new species
Extensive
Of great extent; wide; broad; far reaching; comprehensive; lengthy; detailed; large in amount or scale
