Friendly Protect
- enables alerts associated with the identification processing (ID, conflicts, violations, etc.)
-Track Evaluate Group - Engagement Override Group
Equipment Control
allows status monitor alerts to be displayed
-A Status Monitor alert is simply the system informing you that something is wrong in operational status.
-When not selected only RS filtered alerts will appear.
- Used in conjunction with tab 32 to attain a BRU list
ECCM Assist
- allows you to display A-scope
- It allows alert nnn “USE A-SCOPE” to appear.
- It also allows automatic display of tabs in tactical initialization
Defended Areas
Areas and Points are shown as closed figures drawn with the low-brightness solid lines labeled with two alpha and two numeric designators (TAB 70).
Weapons Control Areas
volumes and combined ID volumes are displayed as closed figures drawn with low-brightness solid lines or dashed lines and labeled with F, H, and three numeric and either F, T, or H (TAB 71).
GEOREFF GRID
white + displays asterisk indicating grid points + high brightness two-letter designators identifying major intersections
Used to correlate tracks in commo loss
Masked terrain maps
-a four-way switch.
- It displays in sequence: masked terrain and general points, masked terrain only, and general maps only (TAB72).
-Mapping Must be completed to display masked terrain
ID Areas
display ID volumes with safe passage corridors, restricted, prohibited, friendly, or hostile origin attributes, ID volumes with Weapon Control Status, IFF on line, passive ID on-line, and combined IFF/passive ID on-line (TAB 71).
Launcher Graphics Display
-indicates operate or standby
-Local launchers: LS#, Bank, #of hot missiles
-Remote launchers: LS#, Bank, Grouping, Hot Missiles
-To display remote launchers press “Hook”
Range Rings
white + displays six arcs of lowbrightness, straight, segmented lines, corresponding to range
Sector Bounds
-Your FU sector bounds are displayed continually.
-Comes on white & displays adjacent FP track sector bounds & FP identifier.
-Track bounds are two dashed lines in low brightness.
-When sector bounds S/I is enabled it displays long solid lines of search sector and long dashed lines of track sector boundaries of the local FP.
-Enabled when transitioning to FU-FU ops to see the adjacent fire units sectors
