Responsible for ensuring all flights are properly staffed within CBA legalities

An FA who does not live in their Base and designated a city as point of origin

Extended Operations, flights between Continental US and Hawaii
Physical state in which FA should no longer fly due to decreased performance

Irregular Operations. Any flight that operates in a manner that negatively impacts customers ( Delay, cancelations, etc.

An FA assigned or re-assigned by the company into a duty period on a scheduled day off
FAR’s or contractual rules as they pertain to FA’s schedule
Legality
When an FA lands in a station later than scheduled due to irregular operations and will not be on the ground in time for their next scheduled flight

Push
The time at which an FA workday begins and they are expected to be at the airport

Release
The time at which an FA’s workday ends
Taxi Out
Time from which a flight leaves the gate to the time it gets “wheels up”/ Airborne
Time from when a plane touches ground to the time it gets to the gate
Taxi In
TFP (Trips for Pay)
A monetary unit by which FAs are compensated converts to dollar amounts
Turn
A one-day trip ( no overnight)
