What are some modelling assumptions when a particle is thrown in the air?
A
No air resistance.
Object is a particle so dimensions are not considered.

You throw a ball down a cliff two seconds after throwing a rock and they collide. If you had taken air resistance into account, what affect would this have on the minimum u value needed for the ball to hit the rock?
A
Rock would take longer to reach the bottom, so tennis ball would not need to be thrown as quick; u value decreases.
