A surprise attack from a concealed location on a halted or temporarily halted target IOT kill/capture personnel or equipment
Definition of a raid
A surprise attack which involves a swift entry into hostile territory to destroy instillations, gather intel, liberate prisoners, and/or kill/capture personnel with a planned withdrawal
