why has whaling become unsustainable
whales have been hunted for centuries.(eskimos) hunt whales for oil,meat and bones.however countries and companies have started to hunt whales and this has become unstable
what was whaling like in the 20th century
-in 1930s over 50,000 whales were being killed every year
-huge factories were catching 10-20 whales each time to make margarine chemicals and make up
