A
- Brazil banned mahogany logging in 2001 & seizes timber from illegal loggers
- Reduced impact logging- divide the land into 30 small plots and rotate logging between each plot
- leave the oldest trees standing once logged the plot is left for 29 years to regenerate - Precious woods amazon are a logging company which is certified as they put a limit on the number of trees cut own and use range of species to avoid over - exploitation
