Basic nasogastric procedure
The tube is passed into the conjunction of the ventral nasal meatus and common nasal meatus to advance into the nasopharynx

Requires blocking the cornual n. and ligating the dorsal and ventral branches of the cornual a.
Possible complication: infection of frontal sinus

- Empyema (purulent infection)
