Infiltrating ductal and infiltrating lobular carcinoma
Facts about lobular carcinoma
Hides, often bilateral
After biopsy reveals, then order bilateral MRI
Paget’s disease of breast
Skin manifestation of ductal carcinoma in situ of the nipple!
Peau de orange
Can be from mastitis or inflammatory breast cancer (worst one)
-differentiate with skin biopsy
Neurogenic claudication
can’t stand, needs to lean over. Does not get worse with exertion
Vascular claudication
Worse with exertion
>70% of stenosis causes demand symptoms. 50% will be enough blood flow to supply area
WALKING UPHILL!
can do an exercise test in the clinic
TIA workup
Urgent! CT/MRI, carotid ultrasound, EKG (maybe echo)
Start ASA and statin
Retinal artery occlusion
Whole vision, shade being drawn down, transient, or darkening from peripheral inward
Amaurosis fugax
transient loss of vision in one both eyes
