17
Q

Peritonitis the antibiotics used is Augmentin, why?

A

Clavulanic acid inhibits B-lactamase enzyme, allow amoxicillin to work on bacteria

18
Q

Apart from Augmentin as broad spectrum Abx, what other combinations can use?
