How are waves formed?
Waves are formed when waves cause friction of the surface of the after, thus creating swells.

What is the Stringer?
It is the timber strip which runs down the centre of a fibre glass board. It provides strength to the board .
Why should you learn on a long board?
Because they have less responsibility and they are more stable for riding, paddling and standing on.
Why is wax applied to board?
Wax is applied to boards to stop surfers from slipping when paddling and standing.
How should you apply wax?
In a circular motion
