Texture - crepitus-feel = adhesions; balloon- or swelling-feel = edema
Tone - whether it’s a taut band or flexible muscle/tissue
In general, how would you know the number of a transverse or spinous process if you knew the number of the other
Tip of spinous process = level of the transverse process of vertebra below
