What are the junctional rhythms?
A
Same description as PJC, but now they are sustained
Normal rate of Junctional pacemaker cells is 40-60 bpm
May be accelerated - 60-100 bpm
Possible to even have Junctional Tachycardia - > 100 bpm
AV node has taken over because
SA node is no longer firing (typically slower)
OR
AV node is triggered and takes over (it typically is faster)
