the communist information bureau – agency of international communism who mainly focused on publishing international propaganda
What occurred after the occupation of Eastern Europe?
the Iron Curtain speech which was given by Winston Churchill which stressed that Britain and the United States needed to act as the guardians for peace and stability against the menace of Soviet Communism by forming an “iron curtain”
this led to the long telegram which was an 8k long telegram which prompted US enquiries about Soviet behaviour especially with their refusal to join the World Bank. – written by George Kennan
