What are the first three steps for Superposition?

Answer 1

1. Remove 1 voltage source
2. Find total resistance Rt
3. Find total current iT and therefore the currents at the specified points on the circuit

Question 2

What are the next steps?

Answer 2

4. Add back the 2nd voltage source and remove the 1st voltage source
5. Repeat finding Rt and iT
6. When you have a value for current from both voltage sources at the same specified point, look at the direction the current is travelling into that point and add/subtract as appropriate
