‘chimneys were blown down’, - verb ‘blown’ – the force of the wind = nature losing control, the weather disrupted/worst due to evil (witched + Agnes Sampson)
‘strange screams of death’ – sibilance = uncertainty, noun ‘death’ – dramatic irony = the chaos links to people know that something isn’t right = won’t get away with it
‘Duncan’s horses…they eat each other’ = nature lost it = GCOB destroyed = chaos

darkness

A

‘dark night strangles the travelling lamp’ – verb ‘strangles’ – darkness taking control = evil happens at night, verb connotes death as a way of killing – infer to that the GCOB/DROC has been destroyed. Adjective ‘travelling’ = the sun is exposing the evil = never get away with it
