A

NSAIDs, compression stockings, bed rest

A

mainly affects LSV
do duplex
tx: treat like DVT with anticoagulation (heparin)
or high ligation of LSV at SFJ especially if thrombus extends within 10cm of the SFJ

A

neuropathic: located over malleoli, under metatarsal heads, heels, over toe joints. lack of pain. hypertrophic callus

venous: located over medial malleolus. with surrounding black discoloration from hemosiderosis.

arterial: located on heels, malleoli, tip of toes. ABSENT foot pulses
