Factor
A number which all of the numbers provided can divide into without a remainder, decimal or negative number.
Eg. Factors of 60: 1,2,3,4,5,6,10,12,15,20,30…60
Prime number
A number with two factors and can only be divisible by one and its self.
1 is not a prime number because it does not have 2 factors.
HCF (Highest common factor)
HCF of two numbers is the biggest factor they both have.
HCF of 8 and 12 = 4
LCM (lowest common multiple)
LCM of two numbers is the smallest multiple they both have eg LCM of 5&9 = 45
