Summary Judgment
A
Ends a case or an issue. To be granted, movant must show:
(1) there is no genuine issue of material fact; and
(2) as a matter of law, movant prevails

Summary Judgment Burden Shift (CA)
A
Once the movant has proven that there is no issue of material fact and as a matter of law, movant should prevail, the burden shifts to the opposing party to produce evidence demonstrating an issue of at least one material fact.
