4 steps if water seal breaks?
- Clamp so nothing gets in (FIRST)
-CLAMP FOR 15 SECONDS ONLY - Cut tube from broken device
- Submerge end of cut away tube in sterile water (BEST)
- Unclamp to reestablish water seal
What to do if chest tube comes out
- Cover site with gloved hand (FIRST)
- Cover hole with vaseline gauze (BEST)
Intermittent Bubbling in water seal is
