Skull long, and is a flattened arch from front. Muzzle tapering. Marked occiput. Ears set on in line with eye, reaching to end of nose turned inward. Neck short no dewlap. Good bone. Forearm vertical but can curve in and pastern can slant out (not des). Tail sickle, medium length, tapered. Movement lively. Skin thick and supple. Coat very rough and harsh. Colour fawn coloured golden wheaten to red brick, some black hairs, can have a small white star.

Balanced head domed with some stop, wrinkle when looking down, nearly parallel plains. Prominent occiput. Lozenge eyes. Dark to mid brown can be lighter in lighter dogs. Ears set on low, Reach to end of muzzle curling well inwards, supple and velvety. Wet neck fairly long pronounced but not exaggerated dewlap. Forelegs have great bone, fitting neatly into crook. Prominent breast bone, ground clearance, no flange, whither and quarters same height. H/Q give a spherical effect (apple bum) hocks slightly bent under can have pouches (not excessive) large feet (leave imprint) can be turned out. Tail well set on rather long, sabre. Smooth powerful effortless action. Smooth short close coat not too fine

Head is long and lean, balanced head slightly convex well filled below the eyes. Slight dome, imperceptible stop, bones and principal veins seen. Jaws powerful. Accentuated occiput. Viewed from above narrow and converging. Almond eye well placed back nose and eye rims dark. Ears small pointed and delicate, nearly touching at the occiput. Neck Laterally flattened. F/Q bladed bone, forearm nearly = to HAW. Body chest oval of narrow cut, back bony rising in a graceful curve which is the highest point over the last rib. Width between hip bones 8cm. Fallaway long. H/Q wider than shoulders, well angulated stifle. Feet front oval, hind feet hare. Tail long. Long reach with springy pasterns, effortless power. Coat silky, flat wavy or curly, neck has a curly frill.

The depth of the chest is slightly less than the height from elbow to ground. moderate, light but solid bone, sloping topline, fairly steep croup, oval feet

Proud head carriage. Long conical balanced head, not much stop. Powerful jaw. Almond eye, broad highset ear. Very well angulated. Long clean neck, prominent prosternum, dimples. Forearm inclines slightly, oval from front, keel extending well back, well ribbed back and short loin. Foreleg should cover the lowest point of the keel. Sufficient ground clearance, underline gradually merges into line of abdomen. Spherical bum, croup slightly sloping towards tail. Strong through hocks. Front feet broad, deep, straight or slightly turned out. Hindfeet smaller and narrower. Ground covering parallel movement. Coat dense, short, smooth. No extra skin.

Wires, ridges over eyes prominent, slightly broader skull appearance.

Proud carriage.

Elbows closely set in. Good but not coarse bone, little tuck up, tail thickly coated without plume curled over the centre line. Weather resistant soft dense coat, harness markings, dark line from eye.

Good turn of stifle, well let down hock. Round compact feet. Medium set tail, carried in slight curve. Free and active gait. Light wheaten to red wheaten, dark muzzle and ears and a little white on chest and toes permissible.
