Where did the suffragettes originate from?
It came from people believing that the suffragists were not good enough
so the suffragettes where gonna take a more violent approach
How did the sufferers prove they were just as good as men
by working in the factories which proved they could do stuff just as good as a man
They worked in the factories because all the men had gone off to fight in the war
What tactics did the Suffrages use?
Hunger strike
Chaining them self to stuff to cause disruption
Pelted politicians with eggs and flour
Stopping Parliament meetings
Why did the Government give them the vote after WW1
because they were scared that they would come back after taking a break for the war
and they had also shown their worth working while men were away
