How did Emily Davidson die?
She got hit by a horse.
What evidence is there that the death was accidental?
She had a 2 way ticket so it would be useless if she was to die. Earlier when her friend asked her she sounded happy and someone who is about to die wouldn’t sound happy. She had a scarf that she would probably throw around the horse and if she was to die then it would be useless since the horse would fall and not pass the finish line with the suffragettes coloured scarf.
What evidence is there that the death was on purpose?
She had flags stitched to her jacket so that when people would inspect her body they would know that she was a suffragette. That accident would bring a lot of publicity to the suffragettes & she believed “One big tragedy will save many others.” She tried to kill herself in the past.
