This is because they don’t harm the ecosystem and don’t unbalance the water cycle
What are retention ponds?
These are large holes in the ground that during summer are dry, then during high rains and flooding they provide extra space for excess water
What else do these retention ponds do?
They provide home to new ecosystems in the area
