The reality is very simple. Those who win big , do 4 things right . They sleep,sweat , grind and repeat .and they do it over and over and over again unbtil their dreams become a reality.

Skills like resilience and conscientiousness can be just as important to your success as your test scores or even your IQ.
resilience = the ability of a person to adjust to or recover readily from illness, adversity, major life changes, etc.; buoyancy
conscientiousness = the quality of wishing to do one’s work or duty well and thoroughly
Grit
For instance West Point cadets who scored high on things like grit and determination were more likely to complete basic training than those who ranked high on things like class rank SAT scores and physical fitness. for instance= for example grit and determination= firmness of character and the quality of being resolute
