Can we exceed 10hrs of flight time?
Yes per 263(d) you can but only if the flight would normally not exceed 10 but will because of delays outside of our control like weather, ATC delays etc.
Can we exceed 14 hours of duty
Yes, per a legal interpretation Kidd 2012, it can be exceeded for circumstances beyond our control that led to the excess.
It can also be exceeded for tail end 91 legs per slater 2015
What are the additions to rest required by 135.267 for exceeding duty restrictions?
11 hours if over by less than equal to 30min
12 hours between 30 and 60
16 if over 60
Max duty day
14 hours
Max flight time
10 including all flight time before and between 135 legs
Flight time totals quarterly and yearly?
500 per calendar quarter
800 per consecutive quarters
1400 per calendar year
